Pyke is a name of Irish and English origin, meaning “spear.” It conjures the image of a fearless warrior, sharp and resolute, and carries the spirit of those who forge their own path. Once a surname for pickaxe workers, it now shines as a symbol of boldness, strength, and determination.

Comparative Study of Topology Optimization Methods
In this project, I evaluated Sigmund’s top.m and Wu’s infill.m methods to compare their performance under multiple load cases, robustness, and damage tolerance. The work highlights the trade-offs between stiffness, efficiency, and lightweight design in structures for additive manufacturing.

Autumn 2024
Preliminary and Conceptual Design of a Homeland Defence Interceptor
As part of my Bachelor Thesis, I worked in a team of 11 students to design a next-generation homeland defence interceptor aircraft. My contributions focused on the structural design and wingbox analysis, where I applied aerospace engineering principles to ensure performance, feasibility, and safety under operational requirements.
